Call for Abstracts Now Open!

5th ECATS Conference | 27–29 January 2026 | Brussels, Belgium

Organised by ECATS International Association in partnership with the OLGA Project

ECATS invites researchers, practitioners, and innovators to submit abstracts for the 5th ECATS Conference, focused on advancing solutions to reduce the climate impact of aviation.

Abstracts (approx. 250 words, in English) are due by 3 November 2025 via the Abstract Submission Form. Papers based on original or ongoing research are welcome.

The three-day event will combine collaboration and science:

• Day 1 – Workshop with OLGA, Stargate, and TULIPS projects on practical implementations in sustainable aviation (waste management, hydrogen fuels, green flights, multimodal energy systems).

  
  

• Days 2 & 3 – Scientific conference with sessions on:

  • Airport air quality

  • Alternative fuels

  • Climate impact

  • Sustainable propulsion technologies

  • Circular aviation and lifecycle analysis

  • Poster session

    
    

Research Award of Excellence

Early-career scientists and engineers are encouraged to apply for the Research Award of Excellence in Honour of Ivar Isaksen and Chris Wilson, presented to the best paper by an early-career author.
