OLGA project: supporting Economic, Social and Environmental responsibility during summer 2024

Almost three years since the project started, OLGA is now ready to showcase some of its first green innovations during the summer 2024 in Paris.

OLGA’s Commitment to Legacy and Sustainability

OLGA’s initiatives include CO2 reduction, air quality improvement, and biodiversity preservation, engaging the entire airport and aviation value chain. These sustainable impacts will be felt on local, national, and European scales, addressing societal, environmental, and economic dimensions. OLGA unites a wealth of expertise from airports, airlines, handlers, industry, research institutions, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to tackle the complex climate challenge. Their solutions focus on efficient and carbon-neutral airport and airline operations, sustainable logistics, smart energy and mobility, intermodal passenger and freight transport, emission and air quality assessments, green construction, and circular end-of-life solutions.

Airports and their ecosystem as Key Players in Sustainability

Groupe ADP, the world’s major airport operator, leads the OLGA project which involves 58 partners and third parties.

As an Official Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Groupe ADP, which serves nearly 90 million passengers annually in Paris, is leveraging its expertise to welcome athletes, the Olympic family, and spectators from around the globe during the summer of 2024.

The OLGA project is driving sustainable and efficient actions to foster economic, social, and environmental responsibility. These actions are set to make a significant impact locally, nationally, and across Europe, addressing the intricate climate challenges we face today. The summer of 2024 in Paris presents an ideal opportunity to demonstrate and showcase the first achievements of OLGA, highlighting the tangible benefits of its decarbonisation innovations. This milestone will illustrate OLGA's commitment to creating a lasting legacy of sustainability and efficiency.
